Kṛṣṇasya Khāṇḍavaprasthāt Dvārakā-prayāṇaḥ | Krishna’s Departure for Dvārakā
The verse highlights dharmic conduct in social relations: one should honor rightful persons (pūjā/abhivādana), maintain humility, and preserve familial bonds through respectful gestures such as salutations and embraces.
A respected figure is received by the Pāṇḍavas: he honors Yudhiṣṭhira, Bhīma, and the twins; they embrace him warmly, and the twins offer formal salutations—depicting a courteous, affectionate meeting consistent with royal and familial protocol.
