Samrāt-Lakṣaṇa and the Counsel to Check Jarāsandha

Prudent governance seeks the safety of the community: by choosing a well-defended settlement and assessing strategic geography, leaders reduce needless risk and secure peace for their people.
Kṛṣṇa explains that the Yādavas, living in Dvārakā, feel secure because the natural defensibility of Mount Raivataka and their location make them believe they have escaped the danger posed by Jarāsandha, leading to widespread joy among the clan.
