Arjuna’s evacuation of Dvārakā, Vasudeva’s rites, and the caravan’s crisis
काल एव समादत्ते पुनरेव यदृच्छया । धनंजय! काल ही इन सबकी जड़ है। संसारकी उत्पत्तिका बीज भी काल ही है और काल ही फिर अकस्मात् सबका संहार कर देता है
kāla eva samādatte punar eva yadṛcchayā | dhanañjaya! kālaḥ hī ināṁ sabkī jaṛa hai | saṁsārakī utpattikā bīja bhī kāla hī hai aura kāla hī phira akasmāt sabkā saṁhāra kara detā hai |
Vyāsa disse: “Só o Tempo recolhe tudo de novo—como se fosse ao acaso. Ó Dhanañjaya, o Tempo é a raiz de tudo isto: o Tempo é a semente do surgimento do mundo, e o Tempo, sem aviso, traz a destruição de tudo.”
