Arjuna’s evacuation of Dvārakā, Vasudeva’s rites, and the caravan’s crisis

स तमासाद्य धर्मज्ञमुपतस्थे महाव्रतम्‌ । अर्जुनोअस्मीति नामास्मै निवेद्याभ्यवदत्‌ तत:,महान्‌ व्रतधारी तथा धर्मके ज्ञाता व्यासजीके पास पहुँचकर “मैं अर्जुन हूँ” ऐसा कहते हुए धनंजयने उनके चरणोंमें प्रणाम किया। फिर वे उनके पास ही खड़े हो गये

sa tam āsādya dharmajñam upatasthe mahāvratam | arjuno 'smīti nāmāsmai nivedyābhyavadat tataḥ ||

Tendo alcançado o sábio de grande voto, conhecedor do dharma, Arjuna aproximou-se com reverência. Identificando-se—“Eu sou Arjuna”—Dhanañjaya declarou seu nome, prostrou-se aos pés do muni e então permaneceu de pé ao lado, respeitoso.
