Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā
अर्जुन रमणीय काननों, पर्वतों और नदियोंके तटपर निवास करते हुए वृष्णिवंशकी स्त्रियोंको ले जा रहे थे ।। स पञ्चनदमासाद्य धीमानतिसमृद्धिमत् । देशो गोपशुधान्याढ्ये निवासमकरोत् प्रभु:,चलते-चलते बुद्धिमान् एवं सामर्थ्यशाली अर्जुनने अत्यन्त समृद्धिशाली पंचनद देशमें पहुँचकर जो गौ, पशु तथा धन-धान्यसे सम्पन्न था, ऐसे प्रदेशमें पड़ाव डाला
sa pañcanadam āsādya dhīmān atisamṛddhimat | deśo gopaśudhānyāḍhye nivāsam akarot prabhuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Enquanto Arjuna prosseguia—detendo-se junto a florestas aprazíveis, montanhas e margens de rios, escoltando as mulheres da linhagem Vṛṣṇi—chegou à terra de Pañcanada, de extraordinária prosperidade. Ali, numa região rica em vaqueiros, rebanhos e abundância de grãos, o poderoso Arjuna armou acampamento.
