उत्पातदर्शनम् — Portents and Kāla among the Vṛṣṇis
युक्त रथं दिव्यमादित्यवर्ण हया हरन् पश्यतो दारुकस्य । ते सागरस्योपरिष्टादवर्तन् मनोजवाश्नतुरो वाजिमुख्या:,भगवानका जो सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी और जुता हुआ दिव्य रथ था, उसे दारुकके देखते-देखते घोड़े उड़ा ले गये। वे मनके समान वेगशाली चारों श्रेष्ठ घोड़े समुद्रके जलके ऊपर-ऊपरसे ही चले गये
yukta-rathaṁ divyam āditya-varṇa-hayā haran paśyato dārukasya | te sāgarasyopariṣṭād avartan mano-javāś caturō vāji-mukhyāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Diante dos próprios olhos de Dāruka, os quatro cavalos excelsos—rápidos como o pensamento—levaram consigo a carruagem divina, fulgurante como o sol, já atrelada. Eles avançaram sobre a superfície das águas do oceano, como se o mar não pudesse deter aquilo que fora consagrado ao propósito do Senhor. A cena ressalta a retirada do divino do mundo humano após o fim dos Yādavas e a impotência até do fiel cocheiro quando o kāla (o Tempo) se volta.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the sovereignty of kāla and the withdrawal of divine supports from the world: even sacred instruments (the divine chariot and its horses) depart when their cosmic role is complete, reminding listeners not to cling to power or protection as permanent.
As Dāruka watches, the four sun-bright, thought-swift horses carry away the divine chariot, moving over the ocean’s surface—an extraordinary sign that the Lord’s celestial possessions are leaving the human sphere in the Mausala Parva’s closing events.
