उत्पातदर्शनम् — Portents and Kāla among the Vṛṣṇis
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत मौसलपर्वमें उत्पातदर्शनविषयक दूसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ,अग्निहोत्रनिकेतेषु वास्तुमध्येषु वेश्मसु । वृष्ण्यन्धकानखादन्त स्वप्ने गृध्रा भयानका: अग्निहोत्रगृहोंमें जिनके मध्यभागमें वास्तुकी पूजा-प्रतिष्ठा हुई है, ऐसे घरोंमें भयंकर गृध्र आकर वृष्णि और अन्धकवंशके मनुष्योंको पकड़-पकड़कर खा रहे हैं। यह भी स्वप्रमें दिखायी देता था
agnihotraniketeṣu vāstumadhyeṣu veśmasu | vṛṣṇyandhakān akhādanta svapne gṛdhrā bhayānakāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Em sonhos, viam-se abutres terríveis entrar nas casas onde se mantinha o fogo do Agnihotra—lares cujo espaço central fora consagrado pelo rito de Vāstu—e ali eles agarravam e devoravam homens dos clãs Vṛṣṇi e Andhaka.”
