प्रगृह् च कुरुश्रेष्ठ साड़॒दं दक्षिणं भुजम् । उवाच धर्मभृत् पार्थ उभौ तौ केशवार्जुनौ
pragṛhya ca kuruśreṣṭha sāṅgadaṃ dakṣiṇaṃ bhujam | uvāca dharmabhṛt pārtha ubhau tau keśavārjunau ||
Ó melhor dos Kurus! Então o rei justo Yudhiṣṭhira, tomando em sua mão o braço direito de Śrī Kṛṣṇa adornado com um bracelete, dirigiu-se a ambos, Keśava e Arjuna.
संयज उवाच
Even amid war, rightful leadership is marked by restraint, reverence, and accountability to dharma. Yudhiṣṭhira’s gesture and address signal that decisions should be grounded in moral duty and guided by wise counsel.
Yudhiṣṭhira physically takes hold of Kṛṣṇa’s right arm (adorned with an armlet) and then speaks to both Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna, setting up an important exchange before subsequent action in the battle narrative.
