न पक्षिणो बश्रमुरन्तरिक्षे तदा महास्त्रेण कृतेडन्धकारे
na pakṣiṇo baśramur antarīkṣe tadā mahāstreṇa kṛte 'ndhakāre
Disse Sañjaya: Quando aquela arma poderosa foi desencadeada e a escuridão se espalhou pelo céu, nem mesmo as aves conseguiam mover-se no ar—tal era a obscuridade cegante e funesta produzida pelo uso de grande poder astral na guerra.
