अथोपयातत्त्वरितो दिदृक्षु- मन्त्रौषधीभिर्निरुजो विशल्य:
athopayāt tvarito didṛkṣu-
mantrauṣadhībhir nirujo viśalyaḥ
Disse Sañjaya: Então ele avançou apressado, ansioso por vê-lo—agora livre da dor e com a flecha extraída, restaurado por mantras e ervas curativas. O verso ressalta como, mesmo em meio à brutalidade da guerra, o cuidado, o conhecimento e a ajuda oportuna podem, por um instante, resgatar um guerreiro ferido do sofrimento.
