tato drutaṃ caikaśareṇa pārtha śitena viddhvā yudhi karṇaputraḥ
Disse Sañjaya: Então, rapidamente, o filho de Karṇa atingiu Pārtha no meio da luta com uma única flecha, afiada como lâmina — um ato que intensifica a tensão moral do duelo, no qual destreza e firmeza são provadas sob as exigências maiores do dever na guerra.
