अतीव पार्थो युधि कार्मुकिभ्यो नारायणश्षाप्रति चक्रयुद्धे । एवंविधौ पाण्डववासुदेवौ चलेत्‌ स्वदेशाद्धिमवान्‌ न कृष्णौ

Transliteration

atīva pārtho yudhi kārmukibhyo nārāyaṇaḥ śāprati cakrayuddhe | evaṃvidhau pāṇḍavavāsudevau calet svadeśāddhimavān na kṛṣṇau ||

Translation

Disse Karna: “Na batalha, Pārtha (Arjuna) é imensamente superior a todos os arqueiros, e Nārāyaṇa (Kṛṣṇa) não tem igual no combate com o disco. Assim são o Pāṇḍava e Vāsudeva: como o Himalaia não se desloca de sua própria terra, assim também esses dois não vacilam.”
