Educational Q&A

In a crisis, sentimentality and inattention become moral and tactical failures; a warrior must return to disciplined training—focused sight, firm grip, correct aiming—and act with steadiness toward the chosen duty (kṣatriya-dharma).

Arjuna challenges Karna to advance and fight decisively, urging him to recall Paraśurāma’s weapon-lore and technique. Arjuna also notes that the Kaurava army is breaking apart everywhere because Arjuna is rapidly cutting down many opponents, spreading fear through their ranks.
