रथान् हयान् पत्तिगणांश्व सायकै- विंदारितान् पश्य पतन्त्यमी यथा । तवानुजेनामरराजतेजसा महावनानीव सुपर्णवायुना
rathān hayān pattigaṇāṃś ca sāyakair vidāritān paśya patanty amī yathā | tavānujenāmararājatejasā mahāvanānīva suparṇavāyunā ||
Olha—como estes carros, cavalos e massas de infantes, dilacerados por flechas, vão tombando ao chão. Assim como grandes florestas são derrubadas pelo vento levantado por Suparṇa (Garuḍa) ao bater das asas, do mesmo modo teu irmão mais novo Arjuna—radiante como Indra, rei dos deuses—despedaça as forças inimigas com suas setas.
