pūrṇam ākāśam abhavad rukmapuṅkhair ajiddāgaiḥ |
Sañjaya disse: Todo o céu ficou tomado por flechas—dardos de voo reto, guarnecidos de penas douradas—soltas de seu arco, capazes de rasgar os corpos dos inimigos. A cena anunciava a intensidade avassaladora da batalha, em que a perícia marcial e a força implacável dominavam o campo.
