tāṁs tathābhimukhān vīrān mitrārthe tyaktajīvitān | kṣayaṁ nayati rādheyaḥ pañcālāñ chatśo raṇe ||
Disse Sañjaya: Enfrentando-o diretamente, aqueles heróis Pāñcāla—que, pelo bem de seu amigo, haviam abandonado o apego até mesmo à vida—eram levados à destruição no campo de batalha por Rādheya (Karṇa), que os abatia às centenas.
संजय उवाच
