महारथान् नागवरान् हयांश्न पदातिमुख्यानपि च प्रमथ्य । एको भीमो धार्त॑राष्ट्रेषु मग्नः स मामुपालब्धुमरिंदमो5हति
mahārathān nāgavarān hayāṁś ca padātimukhyān api ca pramathya | eko bhīmo dhārtarāṣṭreṣu magnaḥ sa mām upālabdhum ariṁdamo 'rhati ||
Tendo esmagado os grandes guerreiros de carro, os melhores elefantes, os cavalos e até os mais destacados infantes, Bhīma, sozinho, mergulhou fundo nas fileiras dos Dhārtarāṣṭra. Só esse subjugador de inimigos é digno de me censurar—pois sua repreensão nasceria de valor comprovado e de firmeza inabalável pela causa em meio à guerra justa.
अजुन उवाच
Only one who has borne the burden of action and demonstrated courage in the same struggle is truly entitled to admonish another; reproach gains moral force when grounded in personal sacrifice and proven commitment.
Arjuna points to Bhima’s ferocious advance—crushing charioteers, elephants, horses, and infantry and penetrating the Kaurava ranks—and says that Bhima alone has the standing to censure him, since Bhima is fully engaged and battle-tested in that moment.
