Transliteration

patitair nipatadbhir viśvaṃ gajair hemavibhūṣitaiḥ

Translation

Disse Sañjaya: Todo o campo parecia subjugado por elefantes—uns já caídos, outros ainda tombando—adornados com ornamentos de ouro; seus esplêndidos arreios haviam-se tornado sinais de ruína em meio à violência da guerra.
