कर्णस्य सेनापत्याभिषेकः | Karṇa’s Consecration as Commander-in-Chief
अम्बष्ठस्य सुतः श्रीमान् मित्रहेतो: पराक्रमन् । आसाद्य लक्ष्मणं वीर दुर्योधनसुतं रणे
ambaṣṭhasya sutaḥ śrīmān mitrahetoḥ parākraman | āsādya lakṣmaṇaṃ vīra duryodhanasutaṃ raṇe ||
Disse Sañjaya: O ilustre filho do Ambaṣṭha (casta), lutando em favor de seu aliado Mitra, avançou e enfrentou o heroico Lakṣmaṇa, filho de Duryodhana, no meio da batalha. O episódio ressalta como, na guerra, lealdades e alianças conduzem os homens ao confronto direto, onde o valor pessoal é provado contra os laços de amizade e obrigação.
