शत्रुपक्षमवस्कन्द्य शरानस्यति मारुति: । शत्रुओंद्वारा पांचालोंके पराजित होनेपर ये वायुपुत्र भीमसेन निर्भय गर्जना करते हुए शत्रुदलपर आक्रमण करके बाणोंकी वर्षा कर रहे हैं
śatrupakṣam avaskandya śarān asyati mārutiḥ |
Disse Sañjaya: Tendo investido contra a ala inimiga, o filho de Māruti (Bhimasena) a cobre com uma chuva de flechas. Após os Pāñcāla serem repelidos, ele avança sem temor, bradando em alta voz, e golpeia as fileiras hostis—imagem de coragem firme e dever (dharma) em meio ao caos da guerra.
संजय उवाच
