त्वया यशश्च्‌ राज्यं च सुखं चोत्तममिच्छता । “तुम यश, राज्य और उत्तम सुखकी अभिलाषा रखकर इन सबके साथ दुष्टात्मा कर्णका प्रयत्नपूर्वक वध कर डालो

tvayā yaśaś ca rājyaṃ ca sukhaṃ cottamam icchatā | duṣṭātmanā karṇasya prayatnapūrvakaṃ vadhaṃ kuru ||

Sañjaya disse: “Se buscas fama, soberania e a mais alta felicidade, então, com firme determinação, deves causar a morte de Karṇa, cujo espírito se voltou para o mal.”
