कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat
ततः क्रुद्धों रणे पार्थ: संवृतस्तैर्महारथै:
tataḥ kruddho raṇe pārthaḥ saṃvṛtas tair mahārathaiḥ
Sañjaya disse: Então, em meio à batalha, Pārtha (Arjuna), enfurecido, viu-se cercado por todos os lados por aqueles grandes guerreiros de carruagem—imagem do lutador justo pressionado por força formidável, onde a determinação e o autocontrole são provados na violência da guerra.
संजय उवाच
