The verse highlights steadfastness under pressure: even when surrounded by danger and struck from all sides, a righteous warrior is expected to remain composed and resolute, embodying courage and endurance as part of kṣatriya-dharma.
In the battle scene narrated by Sañjaya, opposing fighters unleash dense, varied volleys of arrows from all directions. Bhīma (Bhīmasena), though heavily assailed, stands as a powerful figure enduring the onslaught.
