Chapter 45
ऐसी बातें कहते हुए मद्रराज शल्यसे कर्णने अत्यन्त क्रोधपूर्वक कहा--'तुम्हीं देखो न, रोषमें भरे हुए संशप्तकोंने उनपर चारों ओरसे आक्रमण कर दिया है ।।
eṣa sūrya ivāmbhodaiś channaḥ pārtho na dṛśyate | etad-anto 'rjunaḥ śalya nimagno yodhasāgare ||
Sañjaya disse: Falando assim, Karṇa dirigiu-se ao rei de Madra, Śalya, com ira intensa: “Vê—os Saṁśaptakas, inflamados de fúria, atacaram-no de todos os lados. Como o sol velado por nuvens, Pārtha (Arjuna) já não se vê. Śalya, toma isto por fim de Arjuna—ele afundou num oceano de guerreiros.”
