सपताका रथाश्रैते पञज्चालानां महात्मनाम्
sapatākā rathāś caite pāñcālānāṁ mahātmanām | ye mahāmanasaḥ pāñcāla-vīrāṇāṁ rathāḥ, yeṣu patākāḥ praphullāḥ | paśyata, śreṣṭha-vānara-yukta-dhvajāvān aparājito vīraḥ kuntīkumāro 'rjunaḥ samākrāntum ihaiva āyāti ||
Sañjaya disse: “Estes são os carros dos magnânimos Pāñcālas, com estandartes a tremular. Vede—Arjuna, o herói invicto, filho de Kuntī, cujo pendão traz o nobre emblema do macaco, avança para cá para lançar o seu assalto.”
