विभ्राजन्ति रथे कर्ण विमाने दैवते यथा । “कर्ण! देवताओंके विमान-जैसे रथपर ये ध्वज हवाके झोंके खा-खाकर कड़कड़ शब्द करते हुए शोभा पा रहे हैं
vibhrājanti rathe karṇa vimāne daivate yathā |
Sañjaya disse: “Ó Karṇa, sobre o teu carro os estandartes brilham esplendidamente, como se estivessem num vimāna divino. Atingidos repetidas vezes pelas rajadas de vento, estalam com sons agudos e, assim, aumentam a majestade do carro — um espetáculo de esplendor marcial, quase como um presságio, em meio à guerra que se desenrola.”
