Chapter 45
तमन्वयान्महाराज स्वयं दुर्योधनो नूप:
tam anvayān mahārāja svayaṃ duryodhano nūpaḥ | aśobhat mahārāja devair iva śatakratuḥ ||
Sañjaya disse: Ó grande rei, o próprio Duryodhana, o soberano, seguia por detrás. Protegido por guerreiros poderosos—seus irmãos de sangue com armas e armaduras variadas, e os valentes combatentes de Madra e Kekaya que vieram juntos—ele resplandecia então, ó rei, como Indra (Śatakratu) cercado pelos deuses.
