विडीनं परिडीनं च पराडीनं सुडीनकम् | अभिडीनं महाडीन॑ निर्डीनमतिडीनकम्
viḍīnaṃ pariḍīnaṃ ca parāḍīnaṃ suḍīnakam | abhiḍīnaṃ mahāḍīnaṃ nirḍīnam atiḍīnakam
Disse o corvo: “Tornei-me totalmente miserável—consumido de todos os modos: caído na desgraça, afundado em desgraça mais profunda, lançado numa desgraça sem medida; miserável, ainda mais miserável, grandemente miserável; despojado de toda a força e reduzido à extrema indigência.”
