ततःप्रभृति भद्रं ते गवां द्वैधीकृता: खुरा: । हयानां च सतना राजंस्तदाप्रभूति नाभवन्
tataḥprabhṛti bhadraṃ te gavāṃ dvaidhīkṛtāḥ khurāḥ | hayānāṃ ca satanā rājan tadāprabhūti nābhavan |
Desde então—que te seja favorável—os cascos do gado tornaram-se fendidos; e, ó rei, desde aquele tempo os cavalos já não tiveram cascos sólidos e indivisos. A afirmação assinala uma alteração duradoura na ordem natural, como se atos e condições cósmicas deixassem marcas permanentes no mundo.
