नमोअस्तु ते ससैन्याय >यम्बकायामितौजसे । मनोवाककर्मभिददेव त्वां प्रपन्नानू भजस्व न:,'सेनासहित आप अमिततेजस्वी भगवान् तयम्बकको नमस्कार है। देव! हम मन, वाणी और क्रियाद्वारा आपकी शरणमें आये हैं। आप हमें अपनाइये'
namo 'stu te sa-sainyāya tryambakāyāmitaujase | manovākkarmabhir deva tvāṁ prapannānu bhajasva naḥ ||
Duryodhana disse: «Salve a ti, ó Tryambaka (Śiva), de poder imensurável, juntamente com tuas hostes acompanhantes. Ó Senhor divino, com mente, palavra e ação buscamos refúgio em ti: acolhe-nos e toma-nos sob tua proteção.»
