कर्णस्य दानप्रतिज्ञा–शल्योपदेश–वाक्ययुद्धम्

हयैश्न पतितैस्तत्र नरैश्न विनिपातितै: । अगम्यरूपा पृथिवी क्षणेन समपद्यत
hayaiś ca patitais tatra naraiś ca vinipātitaiḥ | agamyārūpā pṛthivī kṣaṇena samapadyata rājendra ||
Sañjaya disse: “Ó rei, ali a terra, juncada de cavalos caídos e de homens abatidos e arremessados ao chão, tornou-se num instante tão obstruída e de aspecto tão terrível que atravessá-la era quase impossível.”
