tataḥ pratikṛte yatnaṃ kurvāṇī to mahāraṇe | kṛtapratikṛte yatto śarasandghair abhītavat
Disse Sañjaya: Então, naquela grande batalha, esforçando-se por retaliar o que fora feito e decidido a responder golpe por golpe, ele impeliu o contra-ataque com saraivadas de flechas, destemidamente.
संजय उवाच
