कर्णो5पि राजन् सम्प्राप्प सैनापत्यमरिंदम: । योगमाज्ञापयामास सूर्यस्योदयनं प्रति,राजन! शत्रुदमन कर्णने भी सेनापतिका पद प्राप्त करके सूर्योदयके समय सेनाको युद्धके लिये तैयार होनेकी आज्ञा दे दी
karṇo 'pi rājan samprāpya senāpatyam ariṃdamaḥ | yogam ājñāpayāmāsa sūryasyodayanaṃ prati ||
Disse Sañjaya: Ó rei, Karṇa também—tendo alcançado o comando do exército, subjugador de inimigos—deu ordens para que as tropas estivessem prontas para a batalha ao nascer do sol.
संजय उवाच
