Chapter 136: Pandava Counter-Encirclement and the Vāyavya-Astra Disruption
स निर्भिद्य रणे पार्थ सूतपुत्रधनुश्च्युत: । अगच्छद् दारयन् भूमिं चित्रपुडख: शिलीमुख:
sa nirbhidya raṇe pārtha sūtaputra-dhanuś-cyutaḥ | agacchad dārayan bhūmiṃ citrapuṅkhaḥ śilīmukhaḥ ||
Disse Sañjaya: No meio da batalha, aquela flecha—disparada do arco do filho do Sūta—traspassou Bhīmasena e prosseguiu; fendendo a terra em seu ímpeto, desapareceu no chão. A cena ressalta o ímpeto implacável da guerra, em que destreza e ira levam as armas além do alvo imediato, intensificando o peso moral da violência no campo de batalha.
