भारद्वाजोडब्रवीद् वाक््यं तावकानां महारथान् | क्षिप्रं गच्छत भद्रं वो राजानं परिरक्षत
sañjaya uvāca | bhāradvājo 'bravīd vākyam tāvakānāṃ mahārathān | kṣipraṃ gacchata bhadraṃ vo rājānaṃ parirakṣata ||
Disse Sañjaya: Bhāradvāja falou aos grandes guerreiros de carro dos Kauravas: “Ide depressa — que o bem vos acompanhe. Protegei o rei.”
संजय उवाच
In the midst of conflict, the verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma as prompt, disciplined action in service of protection—especially safeguarding the sovereign and the polity—placing duty above hesitation.
Sañjaya reports that Bhāradvāja issues an urgent directive to the Kauravas’ foremost chariot-warriors: they must hurry and form protection around the king, indicating a moment of tactical or personal danger requiring immediate defense.
