भूयश्वैनं महाबाहु: शरै: शीघ्रमवाकिरत्‌ । पर्वतं वारिधाराभि: प्रावषीव बलाहक:ः

Transliteration

bhūyaś cainaṃ mahābāhuḥ śaraiḥ śīghram avākirat | parvataṃ vāridhārābhiḥ prāvṛṣīva balāhakaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya disse: Então, mais uma vez, o guerreiro de braços poderosos o cobriu rapidamente com uma chuva de flechas, como uma nuvem de monção que derrama correntes de água sobre o cume de uma montanha. A imagem ressalta o ímpeto implacável da batalha—força contra força—em que a proeza se revela por habilidade marcial disciplinada, e não por mera fúria.
