विदुरद्रोणभीष्माणां तथान्येषां हितैषिणाम्‌ । अकृत्वा वचन पथ्यं क्षयं गच्छन्ति कौरवा:,विदुर, द्रोण, भीष्म तथा अन्य हितैषियोंके हितकर वचनोंको न माननेके कारण इन कौरवोंका विनाश हो रहा है

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | vidura-droṇa-bhīṣmāṇāṃ tathā anyeṣāṃ hitaiṣiṇām | akṛtvā vacanaṃ pathyaṃ kṣayaṃ gacchanti kauravāḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya disse: Porque os Kauravas não deram ouvidos ao conselho salutar e benéfico de Vidura, Drona, Bhishma e outros bem-intencionados, agora caminham para a ruína.
