Chapter 89: Bhīma dispatched to protect Ghaṭotkaca amid escalating engagements
त॑ श्रुत्वा निनदं घोरं तावकानां महारथौ | विन्दानुविन्दावावन्त्यौ पार्षतं प्रत्युपस्थितौ,आपके सैनिकोंका वह घोर आर्तनाद सुनकर अवन्तीके राजकुमार विन्द और अनुविन्द धृष्टद्यम्मनका सामना करनेके लिये उपस्थित हुए
taṁ śrutvā ninadaṁ ghoraṁ tāvakānāṁ mahārathau | vindānuvindāv āvantyau pārṣataṁ pratyupasthitau ||
Sañjaya disse: Ao ouvir aquele terrível brado de lamentação entre as tuas tropas, os dois grandes guerreiros de carro — Vindā e Anuvindā, príncipes de Avanti — avançaram para enfrentar o filho de Pṛṣata (Dhṛṣṭadyumna). A cena ressalta como, em meio ao caos moral da guerra, os guerreiros de elite respondem aos clamores do seu lado entrando em combate direto, movidos pela lealdade e pelo dever marcial.
