अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

हाहाकारकश्न संजज्ञे तव सैन्यस्य मारिष । वध्यतो भीमसेनेन कृतिना चित्रयोधिना,आर्य! विचित्र रीतिसे युद्ध करनेवाले विद्वान् भीमसेनके द्वारा मारी जाती हुई आपकी सेनामें हाहाकार मच गया
hāhākāraś ca sañjajñe tava sainyasya māriṣa | vadhyato bhīmasenena kṛtinā citrayodhinā ||
Sañjaya disse: “Ó venerável, em teu exército ergueu-se um grande clamor de aflição, pois estava sendo dizimado por Bhīmasena—hábil e terrível, que lutava com táticas marcantes e variadas.”
