Adhyāya 69: Strategic duels under Bhīṣma’s command

तेनास्मि कृतसंवाद: प्रसन्नेन सुरर्षभा: । जगतोनुग्रहार्थाय याचितो मे जगत्पति:
tenāsmi kṛtasaṃvādaḥ prasannena surarṣabhāḥ | jagato'nugrahārthāya yācito me jagatpatiḥ ||
“Assim, ó melhores entre os deuses, mantive este diálogo com o Senhor benevolente. O próprio Mestre do universo pediu-me que falasse, para o bem e a elevação do mundo.”
