स एष शाश्चतो देव: सर्वगुह्ममय: शिव: । वासुदेव इति ज्ञेयो यन्मां पृष्छसि भारत
sa eṣa śāśvato devaḥ sarvaguhyamayaḥ śivaḥ | vāsudeva iti jñeyo yan māṃ pṛcchasi bhārata ||
Bhīṣma disse: “Ó Bhārata, Ele é de fato o Deus eterno — auspicioso, Śiva, a própria encarnação de todos os mistérios sagrados. Sabe que Ele é conhecido como Vāsudeva, acerca de quem me perguntas.”
