स च्छिन्नधन्वा कौरव्य: पुनरन्यन्महद् धनु: । निमिषान्तरमात्रेण सज्यं चक्रे पिता तव,धनुष कट जानेपर आपके ताऊ कुरुनन्दन भीष्मने पलक मारते-मारते पुनः दूसरे विशाल धनुषपर प्रत्यंचा चढ़ा दी
sa cchinnadhanvā kauravyaḥ punar anyan mahad dhanuḥ | nimiṣāntaramātreṇa sajyaṃ cakre pitā tava ||
Tendo o seu arco sido cortado, ó descendente dos Kurus, teu pai Bhīṣma tomou de pronto outro grande arco e, em menos que um piscar de olhos, tornou a encordoá-lo.
संजय उवाच
