अवस्थितं च प्रणिपत्य कृष्णं प्रीतो$र्जुन: काउ्चनचित्रमाली । उवाच कोपं प्रतिसंहरेति गतिर्भवान् केशव पाण्डवानाम्,जब श्रीकृष्ण खड़े हो गये, तब सुवर्णका विचित्र हार पहने हुए अर्जुनने अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हो उनके चरणोंमें प्रणाम करके कहा--“केशव! आप अपना क्रोध रोकिये। प्रभो! आप ही पाण्डवोंके परम आश्रय हैं
avasthitaṃ ca praṇipatya kṛṣṇaṃ prīto 'rjunaḥ kāñcanacitrāmālī | uvāca kopaṃ pratisaṃhareti gatir bhavān keśava pāṇḍavānām ||
Quando Kṛṣṇa se ergueu e ficou de pé, Arjuna—usando uma esplêndida guirlanda de ouro, variegada e primorosa—prostrou-se com alegria a seus pés e disse: “Keśava, refreia a tua ira. Senhor, tu és o próprio refúgio e o caminho seguro dos Pāṇḍavas.”
संजय उवाच
Even in a righteous war, anger must be restrained; power and action should remain under the governance of dharma. Arjuna’s reverent plea highlights self-control as an ethical necessity and recognizes Kṛṣṇa as the stabilizing refuge for right conduct.
Sañjaya reports that as Kṛṣṇa stands up, Arjuna—joyful and adorned with a golden garland—prostrates and urges Kṛṣṇa to withdraw his anger, affirming that Kṛṣṇa is the Pāṇḍavas’ ultimate support and guiding recourse.
