Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
धर्मराजश्न तान् सर्वानिपजग्राह पाण्डव: । महता मेघवर्णेन नागानीकेन पृष्ठत:,तत्पश्चात् पाण्डुनन्दन धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर मेघोंकी घटाके समान हाथियोंकी विशाल सेना साथ लिये पीछेसे आकर उन सबकी सहायता करने लगे
sañjaya uvāca | dharmarājaś ca tān sarvān upajagrāha pāṇḍavaḥ | mahatā meghavarṇena nāgānīkena pṛṣṭhataḥ |
Disse Sañjaya: Então Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira, o Pāṇḍava, avançou e tomou a todos sob sua proteção e amparo. Pela retaguarda, veio com um vasto corpo de elefantes, escuro como uma massa de nuvens de chuva, reforçando-os.
