Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
मार्गान् बहून् विचरता धावता च ततस्ततः । मुहुरुत्पतता चैव सम्मोह: समपद्यत
sañjaya uvāca | mārgān bahūn vicaratā dhāvatā ca tatastataḥ | muhur utpatatā caiva sammohaḥ samapadyata, rājan |
Sañjaya disse: “Ó rei, enquanto ele percorria muitos caminhos e corria de um lado a outro, e enquanto repetidas vezes saltava, um pânico atordoante tomou o campo. Como um elefante soberano no auge da luta, os movimentos de Bhimasena e o terror que inspirava fizeram tremer os soldados e suas montarias, e a confusão espalhou-se por todos.”
