तेन तेन सम दृश्यन्ते धावमाना: समन्तत: । इस प्रकार उस समरांगणमें रथहीन हुए सभी वीर भिन्न-भिन्न मार्गोंसे सब ओर दौड़ते दिखायी देते थे

tena tena sama dṛśyante dhāvamānāḥ samantataḥ |

Disse Sañjaya: Assim, naquele campo de batalha, via-se por toda parte os heróis que haviam perdido suas carruagens correndo em todas as direções, por caminhos diversos—dispersos e desordenados.
