Transliteration

abhiṣlutam abhikruddham ekapārśvāvadhāritam

Translation

Sañjaya disse: “(Ele) foi golpeado com força e, enfurecido, tinha um dos lados rasgado.” A linha transmite a brutal imediaticidade da violência no campo de batalha: a imagem de um combatente ou criatura ferida, levada à fúria pela dor, mostrando como a guerra deforma tanto o corpo quanto o temperamento.
