अन्योन्यं च शरै: क्रुद्धों ततक्षाते परस्परम् | तत्पश्चात् शत्रुमर्दन अभिमन्युने अन्य दो तीखे बाणोंसे बृहद्बलके ध्वजको काट डाला
Translation
Ambos, enfurecidos, feriram-se mutuamente com flechas. Em seguida, Abhimanyu—esmagador de inimigos—cortou com duas setas agudas o estandarte de Bṛhadbala; depois, com uma flecha matou o seu guarda da retaguarda e, com outra, o auriga. Então, os dois, tomados de extrema ira, passaram a trespassar-se um ao outro com dardos cortantes.
