उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
पतन्त्युल्का सनिर्घाता: शक्राशनिसमप्रभा: । अद्य चैव निशां व्युष्टामनयं समवाप्स्यथ,बिजलीकी कड़कड़के साथ इन्द्रकी अशनिके समान प्रकाशित होनेवाली उल्काएँ गिर रही हैं। आजकी रात बीतनेपर सबेरेसे ही तुमलोगोंको अपने अन्यायका फल मिलने लगेगा
patanty ulkā sanirghātāḥ śakrāśani-samaprabhāḥ | adya caiva niśāṁ vyuṣṭām anayaṁ samavāpsyatha ||
Vyāsa disse: “Meteoroides em chamas, caindo com estrondo de trovão e fulgurando como o raio de Indra, estão a desabar. E quando esta mesma noite passar e a aurora chegar, começareis a receber a consequência da vossa injustiça.”
