निकृन्तन्तमनीकानि शरदंष्टं मनस्विनम्‌ । चापव्यात्ताननं घोरमसिजिह्ठलं दुरासदम्‌

Transliteration

nikṛntantam anīkāni śarad-aṃṣṭraṃ manasvinam | cāpa-vyāttānanaṃ ghoraṃ asi-jihvalaṃ durāsadam ||

Translation

Dhṛtarāṣṭra disse: “(Eu o vi) talhando as formações de batalha—como uma fera com presas outonais—altivo de espírito e resoluto; terrível de contemplar, a boca escancarada enquanto retesava o arco, a espada faiscando como língua de fogo, e de todo difícil de se aproximar.”
